Stephen Navyac

Stephen Navyac has had a varied career with a love for music as the common thread.

After earning a bachelor’s degree in Music from Roosevelt University in downtown Chicago, Stephen moved to Los Angeles to work in Artist Management with Larry Carlton and Ginger Baker. This led to the opportunity to tour-manage and sound-engineer Faith No More, as well as work at Bill Schnee’s studio with Mark Knopfler, Jackson Browne, Jellyfish and many other amazing musicians and projects.

Stephen moved to Nashville in 1992 to work with Liberty Records in artist development where he returned to tour managing for a wide range of artists including Keith Urban, Sara Evans, The Mavericks, Lucinda Williams, Little Texas, and Alison Krauss & Union Station. These tours took him across the country as well as throughout Europe and the UK. Stephen also worked with national corporate sponsors to produce large events including rock concerts, festivals and corporate events.

Today, Stephen is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist with extensive experience, certified in both Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and EMDR trauma therapy. His previous work in the music business uniquely prepared him to work with the many creative people in need of counseling. In addition, his love of service and ministry manifests itself in Stephen’s active volunteering in his community and speaking at schools and the Touring Career Workshop.

Originally from Queens, New York, and Royal Oak, Michigan, Stephen and his wife Susanna now call the Belmont-Hillsboro neighborhood in Nashville home.

In his downtime Stephen can be found playing an instrument, gardening or taking excursions with his wife Susanna.
